My name is James and I run the Bike Shop Program at Saint Vincent de Paul on 420 W. Watkins Road. We are in need of volunteers for the mornings and for the Family Evening Meal.
In the mornings the Bike Shop is ran by volunteers that have bike mechanical skills or other sets of mechanical skills. They fix bikes for the homeless that find a job through the Opportunity Program.
The Family Evening Meal Bike Shop is we pick a family that doesn’t have transportation and each member in the family gets a bike but they have fix their own bikes with the help of mechanical volunteers.
For the mornings we are in need of 2 to 4 mechanical experienced volunteers and for the Family Evening Meal
The Schedules are….
Mondays-Thursdays 10:30am to 2:00pm(Morning Schedule) and 4:45pm to 6:00pm(Family Evening Meal Schedule)
Saturdays from 8:30am to 11:30am
If you would like to come in earlier or later on of these days or some of the days we can discuss it with Volunteer Services. I hope to hear from the White Mountain Road Club soon. Thank you!
