Junior Development The development of junior cycling is very important to the White Mountain Road Club. The club is dedicated to getting more children and young adults involved in bike racing. The program offers training rides for all levels of junior cyclists as well as a mentoring program with a Men’s or Women’s Elite Team Member. The club also has many coaches who assist junior cyclists in goal setting, nutrition and proper training techniques.

- Increase interest in junior road cycling at all levels • Promote cycling as a team sport
- Exemplify sportsmanlike behavior in their cycling
- Race with confidence and purpose throughout the season
- Placing in major regional/national junior road races

3. WMRC Junior Team Activities
- Club wide activities including group rides, community involvement, and monthly meetings
- Junior specific clinics to help with various aspects of cycling
- Internet, Meeting, and Newsletter based interaction with other club members
4. WMRC Junior Team Obligations
- Generally play an active and supportive role in both WMRC and road cycling
- Help the Junior Team meet their GOALS
- Have Fun and Encourage others to achieve

- TBD Approx 30 Races within Arizona
- Similar to azcycling.com race calendar from 2011 Season
