Frequently Asked Questions

GENERAL

This FAQ is not a substitution for the race bible that is given at packet pickup.  This race attracts many non-cycling spectators, especially at the downtown crit. Please be on your best behavior since you are representing our event, your team and cycling in general. We would like to leave a lasting POSITIVE impression on everyone attending this event! No foul language! No Littering! No Public Urination!

  • Parking

    • Park only in designated areas!

  • Portable Toilets

    • Porta-Jons will be available for your use. Use them. DO NOT go off into the bushes! Nothing will get us kicked out of a venue faster than using PRIVATE property as a toilet. USE THE PORTA-JONS OR BE DISQUALIFIED!!!! This is your only warning.

  • Protests

    • Protests for the Time Trial and Criterium must be made to the Chief Judge within 15 minutes of posting. (DON’T LEAVE UNTIL YOU HAVE REVIEWED THE POSTED RESULTS!)

      • Protests regarding the Road Race must be made to the Chief Judge prior to the start of the Criterium.

  • Race Numbers

    • DO NOT FOLD OR CRUMPLE NUMBERS!  Each rider will be given two (2) bib numbers and one (1) frame number. All riders must wear both bib race numbers for all races. If you do not have both numbers, you will not be allowed to start the stage. The frame number must be mounted on the bicycle for the Road Race and Criterium. Numbers must be worn on the lower part of the jersey either on or just above the jersey pocket, not in your armpit. The bottom edge of the number should approximately align with the center seam on the side panel.
