No – this is not a subversive bait and switch plot to lure you into volunteering – we have that covered!!
A handful of WMRC and non-WMRC volunteers will be promoting the Arizona Senior Olympics this weekend.
5K and 10K Time Trials on Saturday; 20K and 40K Road Races on Sunday.
The event takes place at the Park n’ Ride lot at the NW corner of Pecos Road and 40th Street.
WMRC has partnered for many years with the Arizona Senior Olympics and the City of Phoenix Parks and Recreation Department to promote this event. We have benefited from that partnership as we promote the Valley of the Sun Stage Race.
These Senior Olymians are full-on competitors!!
If you have time, I know the Senior Olympians would appreciate the extra fan support!!

WMRC once again showed their fine form and volunteering spirit as the five-star team of WMRC Members Ric & Sue Surber, Bill & Ann Peschka, Robin Roberts, Dave Lehnen, Christophe Prosnier, Duane Mulvaney & Mother and non- WMRC members Kit Russell, Dale & Carol Simenson provided the promotion and support of the Arizona Senior Olympics Saturday and Sunday. The Senior Olympians always compliment the volunteers and repeatedly say that the Arizona Senior Olympics are the best Oympics they experience.
Hats off and Kudos to the WMRC and non-WMRC volunteers for their time and spirit!!!
